The British Association of Filipino Physicians and Surgeons delivered the first of its 2024/25 Skills Series events - Welcome to the NHS - on 14th December 2024 at the Lumley Library, Royal College of England.
Supported by the college's Grassroots in Surgery Scheme, this workshop discussed the structure of the NHS, anxieties of student doctors and culture shocks experienced by international graduate doctors, career and portfolio tips, human factors and challenging scenarios
